KittyKind is a not-for-profit, no-kill, all-volunteer cat rescue and adoption group.Our mission is to reduce the number of abandoned or homeless animals in New York City. Even for cats who seem difficult to place, KittyKind has found homes for many of them, and when that is not possible, we try to enlist our foster/sanctuary network to provide these cats with a safe, loving home for the rest of their days.

Each year, KittyKind rescues and finds loving homes for around eight hundred cats,and their happy endings attest to the dedication of our network of compassionate, tireless volunteers and the contribution of the public, in providing donations,foster homes, and, ultimately, wonderful forever homes.
