Casanova             Gender: Male           Age: 5 years



Casanova is a 5 yr old male tabby with white. He is very mellow and loving. He is FIV positive.

Maribelle          Gender: Female           Age: 2 years

Maribelle is a 2 yr old swirl tabby with white. She is shy because she was rescued as a semi-feral cat after her kittenhood and is still in the process of gaining her trust with people. It's very stressful for her to be in a cage. She is looking for that special someone who will give her plenty of time to establish a relationship and understand if she hides for some time. She is immediately comfortable and loving to other cats, so would make an excellent friend to another cat in the home. A pet for your pet!

Alice                Gender: Female           Age: 4 years

Alice, (also known as Aphrodite), is a 4 yr old British Shorthair mix golden tabby. Like all in this breed she has an abundant physique - the May West of kitties. She is very affectionate, and will quietly follow you from room to room until she can settle contentedly by your side. She is gifted with patience and confidence! As she is so social she finds being confined to a cage particularly difficult so she won't show her true self in this environment, but will as soon as she is home! She would like to be the only cat in the home. She is perfectly healthy.

Juliet             Gender: Female           Age:  1.5 years

Juliet was rescued from Hunts Point in the Bronx. Currently she is in one of our foster homes because she really hates being in a cage surrounded by other cats at the store. She is an independent kitty who enjoys hanging out with her person. She’ll give your legs lots of tail hugs and her favorite activity is curling up next to you for a big purring session as you watch TV. She likes her petting on the sparse side; she’s not quite used to a lot of handling, yet. She absolutely loves her toys and chases them around with glee. She does not like being around other cats or dogs, and because she is prone to becoming defensive from over-petting, she should not be with children. She is completely healthy.

Opal                 Gender: Female           Age: 6 years
Opal is a 6 year old, petite tabby female. She is gentle and loves to be around people. She can adjust to a home with another cat, but is also happy to be an only cat. She is truly a rescue story: She was rescued with her two kittens, having spent her early years on the street, bearing litter after litter, and surviving against all odds. She overcame breast cancer and is now dealing with diabetes. This condition is easy to maintain with the right food and insulin twice a day; once her diabetes is stabilized, the vet hopes that it will revert in a couple of months, as does happen with feline diabetes. Opal has come so far, and is eagerly awaiting her forever home with a special person.

Timmy                 Gender: Male              Age: 2 years
Timmy is very playful and a head-butter. He loves other cats very much. He used to be feral but has decided to become incredibly loving instead. His transformation is fully complete! He is extremely interactive and will occasionally pull your hair and kiss your face. Timmy is FELV positive and his present condition is robust and healthy.

Stevie                  Gender: Male              Age: 1 year
I am Stevie a very sweet, playful and lovely to look at 1 year old male tabby. I was rescued from the backyard of a Brooklyn brownstone last year when I was three months old. I was semi-feral when I was rescued but have really warmed up to people. Now I am just a little bit shy and I am looking forward to more personal transformations! I love to be petted and am very even tempered; a sweetheart you might say. I really love other cats and would like to be in a home that I could share with a feline friend.

Thistleby & Penelope   Gender: Female Age: 2 years
We are Thistleby & Penelope (long haired tabby).  We are a mother and daughter pair. We have never been sick a day in our lives, but are FELV positive.  There seem to be different strains of the virus and we seem to have a mild form of it, because we simply never get sick.  We are active, love people and would love to have our own home.

Zeus                    Gender: Male          Age: 5-6 years
Zeus is 5 to 6 years old. He is a fabulous cat, a big mush and deserves to have a home where he can exercise all of his loving impulses. Though he has tested positive for FIV and FELV, he is incredibly healthy. He was rescued from an office where he was kept tied to a table.
